Lipolysis is a part of mesotherapy. Surgical removal of stubborn fat deposits through liposuction is not always necessary, and often associated with a long recovery period. A worthwhile alternative to this provides the injectable lipolysis. It is made of ingredients containing phosphatidylcholine and deoxycholic acid and is administered by injection into the treatment areas. Particularly suitable for therapy are stomach and thighs. The cause of these stubborn fat deposits, which you often can’t get rid off by exercise, is the body’s inability to break down the fatty acids in the fat cells of the adipose tissue. The fatty acids are virtually trapped in the fat cells. Due to the ingredients of the injectable lipolysis, there is a so-called “emulsification” of fatty acids, which can be freed from the fat cell and better transferred to the metabolism, where they are degraded. To see a marked effect, several sessions are usually required. A cream containing an anesthetic is applied locally to the treatment area. Thus, the injection should not be painful.
